The BOM Explosion report displays the bill of material for a finished product. This report view help better manage cost of consumed raw material by identifying expensive raw materials, thus increasing the Gross Profit.

BOM Implosion

The BOM Implosion report shows you how fast raw materials are being consumed and the finished products that are contributing to the fast usage of raw materials. It helps you to plan, manage and forecast on raw materials to effectively push profitable finished products, hence increasing sales.

On Hand Consumption

This report shows you how On Hand Consumption report is used to determine how quickly your Outlet consumes the average inventory available on hand.

This report shows the liquidity of your outlets, where low On Hand Consumption indicates that it takes a short period to clear inventory, hence the outlet is performing well with healthy sales transactions.

9.1.1 Revenue Insights Gross Profit by Outlet

Gross Profit

This report shows Outlet profitability by reviewing Gross Profits and Cost of Goods Sold. Gross profit is determined by subtracting the cost of goods sold (COGS) from Revenue (Sales). The information gives you insights when negotiating with your suppliers, in return, increases Gross Profit for your outlet.

Approval Hierarchy

Every business needs a control for amount spent on Purchased Items.

Use an Approval Hierarchy to define which employees can approve Requisitions of certain amounts. The Approval Hierarchy mimics your organisation hierarchy.

Create Req. Order

Request Order is a shopping list.

The requestor can utilize this form to make a list of requested items. And then add or delete items from that list of requested items.

This list will be used to place an order with Procurement Officer / HQ.

Assign Req. Order

Requisitions are normally created by a Procurement Officer or someone in HQ.

This form allows you to group Requests from multiple sources and assign them to a Vendor.

Only people who have authorization to assign a requisition to a vendor will have access to this form.

Inventory Transfer

Inventory Transfer move items from one Location to Another Location.

An inventory transfer creates 2 material transactions. A Misc receipt that increases the On-hand Quantity of an item at one location. And a Misc Issue that decreases the On-hand Quantity of an item at another Location.

Wastage/Misc Transaction

A wastage transaction decreases OnHand Inventory and is considered a Write Off. Wastage occurs when goods become damaged or unusable.

For instance, unused (perishable) food that passes its expiration date and has to be thrown away is considered Wastage.
